Sungun Phase III contract was awarded to KMP as consultant on Sep 23rd, 2019. The main responsibilities of Consultant are Preliminary studies , Conceptual & Basic Design, Preparing Tender Document, Evaluation of Contractors, Detail Design Review and Approval, Field Engineering Supervision, TBEs Review and Approval, Monitoring the Manufacturers & Suppliers and Project Controlling.

Project Highlights

• Changing the Stock Pile Location because of rock slope instability
• Increasing the Stockpile capacity with designing ring wall due to area limitations
• Designing the Stockpile with roof structure for avoiding dust dispersion
• Optimizing infra-structure of two phases of 7 and 12 MTPY by merging same units such as Stockpile , industrial, Semi-Industrial and non-industrial buildings
• Minimizing the risk of land sliding along the Overland conveyor route by using tunnel
• Optimizing the level of the Crusher platform in order to eliminate the risks of flood in the area of the Sacrificial transfer tower
• Using mechanical frame in order to minimize using of huge trestles, excavations, concrete works and using topography for achieving to foresighted project time and cost
