Darrezar Copper Mine and Comminution Plant

In the summer of 2017, KMP and Saze Pardzari Iran were entrusted by Jahan Pars Company, an EPC contractor assigned to construct the crushing section of the concentrator plant for the Darrezar copper mine by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, with the task of performing detailed engineering services required for the implementation of Darrezar project. Based on our own extensive mining experience and according to the specific conditions, some activities, such as Basic Review and Completion, detailed design of mining tools and equipment including the creation of shafts and tunnels for gyratory crushers, completions engineering of the Overland belt conveyor with a length and design capacity of 4.2 km and 4.255 t/h, respectively and design of non-processing sections of a thickener with a diameter of 70 meters were accomplished.

The purpose of the construction of the Darrezar copper mining concentrator plant is to extract about 10.8 million tons of ore and produce about 143 thousand tons of copper concentrate annually.

Our desired goals in conducting the construction projects of the Darrezar crushing unit are to construct the primary crushing unit, transfer minerals from crusher to stockpile, construct the crushing unit and provide the relevant key infrastructures needed to produce a concentrate with fine particle size. The concentrate will eventually be floated by a flotation unit placed in the Sarcheshme copper complex.
